After ten seasons in the wedding industry, I’ve learned that the most memorable celebrations aren’t just beautiful—they feel deeply reflective of the people at the center of them. My role is to help bring that vision to life, guiding couples through the planning process with thoughtful design, meticulous organization, and a calm, steady presence from start to finish.
 
Before founding Rachel Kendall Events, I spent more than six years in New York City working as a Senior Executive Publicist at a boutique entertainment PR firm. The experience shaped the way I approach my work today—listening closely to clients, understanding their vision, and bringing together the right creative partners to execute it seamlessly.

My path into weddings became personal when I began planning my own. Our wedding on Maryland’s Eastern Shore was where I discovered just how much I loved designing celebrations with personality and intention—infusing every detail with the style and story of the couple at the center of it.

Shortly after we were married, my husband and I traded city life for something a little more adventurous and spent our first year of marriage living aboard our sailboat, exploring the Caribbean together. Travel continues to inspire my work today, along with a love of beautiful spaces, meaningful gatherings, and the small details that make an event feel truly special.

At heart, I’m an incredibly organized “people person” who thrives on getting to know my clients—their personalities, their style, and the story they want their celebration to tell. There is nothing more rewarding than watching a couple fully enjoy their wedding day, surrounded by the people they love, knowing every detail has been thoughtfully handled behind the scenes.

When I’m not planning weddings, you can usually find me traveling, enjoying a great glass of wine, hunting down the perfect cheese board, scouring thrift stores, or gathering inspiration for the next celebration.
