“Elegant Neutral Takeover” Wedding Inspiration

February started off with a plethora of inspiration for us at Rachel Kendall Events with our styled shoot on the first of the month. We were brave enough to complete two styles within one day, and are starting off featuring our “Elegant Neutral Takeover” look here on the blog today!

We’re also blushing with excitement that the lovely ladies over at My Eastern Shore Wedding were as obsessed with how this shoot came out as we were and premiered the photos this week. If you haven’t checked out their write-up yet, make sure to head on over to their blog – you will get lost in all the editorial gems!

When I was starting to think of the styles I wanted to create this season I was inspired by driving down the tree-lined entranceway into Great Oak Manor, on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Once you get a view of the manor house, you can immediately picture this classic wedding scene: the most elegant bride and groom share their first kiss after saying, “I do.” The celebration continues as the guests take their table assignments and a welcome glass of Crow Vineyard’s Sparkling Vidal. They head into the reception tent adorned in neutral accents of ivory, white, and gold, designed by us at Rachel Kendall Events, with rentals provided by Eastern Shore Tents & Events. With the floral talents of Flora Boh, Pantone’s color of the year – greenery – was incorporated into the night with an elevated botanical centerpiece of fern and lush greenery accented by classic white lilies and garden roses. The artful menus on the plates, designed by Little Bit Heart, cause anticipatory excitement in the guests for what is to come. The night continues as the Bride (hair & make-up by Serena Rose Styles, wearing BridesideEmma Katzka Bridal accessories, and Mangan Jewelers rings) and the Groom, (dressed in The Black Tux with his new Mangan Jewelers ring) overlook the Chesapeake Bay sunset. The whole night is captured perfectly for the couple to remember by the talents of Karlin Villondo Photography.

A HUGE thank you to the vendors below for their talents, creativity, and overall amazing-ness with this shoot!
