Modern Georgia Plantation Wedding

There is no better feeling than seeing a full year, or more, of planning & designing come to fruition with our full-planning clients. There was no exception here for Sarah & Paul’s perfect plantation wedding last month! There might have been even more joy than normal with the amount of personality we put into the day to showcase these two as individuals and a couple. Sarah, being a writer and dreamer, wanted to include “wishes” from each of her guests that they sent in with their RSVPs. We then scrolled the wishes up & put them in mason jars to hang around the couple as they said their “I dos” under a pecan tree at the breathtaking Vinewood Plantation. In order to fulfill the groom’s wishes of incorporating his grandfather’s Model A in the ceremony,  Sarah’s dad drove her & her mom up to the aisle. What an entrance!  The Model A later displayed their parents & grandparents wedding photos for guests to enjoy during the cocktail hour. Other DIY projects we loved helping out with included designing various wooden signs, creating Polaroid table number photos, and repurposing a room separator by painting it in their wedding blue and using it to hang the escorts cards. Our favorite moment was when the couple decided to nix the wedding cake and instead feed each other chocolate chip cookies with little milk shooters. We also have to mention the perfect guest favors, salt & pepper mason jar shakers with “S” & “P” on the cap – how adorable?! Congrats to Mr. & Mrs. Benedict!
