Intimate Brewery Dinner Party Wedding

Kate + Dan came to us with a unique vision of the wedding they hoped we could help them create. They wanted an intimate wedding with twinkle lights and unforgettable food that showcased Baltimore to their best friends + family, many of whom were coming from out of state. With a little under six months to make this vision a reality, we hit the ground running reaching out to venues who we knew could host Kate + Dan’s perfect dinner party wedding.

After some scouting, they decided on Monument City Brewing Co. as the winner. At one point the bride mentioned that she wanted her wedding day to feel as though she was hosting the most fabulous dinner party at her own brewery, and I think we delivered just that! With the talents of all vendors listed below, we were able to turn Monument City Brewing Co.’s tasting room into exactly what Kate + Dan had described — the bride came to me with a lovely crayon drawing of her wedding vision and we made the photo come to life.

The space was filled with farm tables brought in from Something Vintage Rentals, whimsical floral landscapes using different size growlers and beer bottles, cut by the bride herself, and arranged by Steelcut Flowers Co., and of course those twinkle lights. There was also so much of the bride + groom’s personality sprinkled throughout the room with each guest arriving to a welcome beer and a boutonniere/corsage, signifying for this couple that opted to skip a wedding part that each guest was a special part of their day. Kate & I spent two DIY days crafting away on banners, signs, and more to add those special touches! My favorite was a banner for the wine + spirits bar that read “Adult Beverages”, a line that came from their first date together. The ceremony, hosted in the back of Monument City’s warehouse among the brewing equipment, included a rustic door backdrop with a banner that stated, “You’re Cute & I Love You”, a favorite statement of affection between Kate + Dan.

After the ceremony, the cocktail hour consisted of lawn games outside and then the dinner party continued with an abundance of family style cuisine from Clementine, speeches, dancing, and ending with Baltimore’s own Dangerously Delicious Pies as the dessert. Kate + Dan’s guests raved about the food and drink, the ambiance, and how perfectly the event captured this couple’s personalities and spirit. Thanks to the talents of Brittany from Bee Two Sweet Photography, we are able to relive each aspect of the day!

There was no better reward for the months of putting together this unique and special day for Kate + Dan, than watching them enjoy the day just as they had envisioned.

Cheers to the happy couple!
